Steam Trains run every 45 minutes from 4 pm to 7 pm.

Join us for a Portland Christmas season family tradition. Ride the two-foot narrow gauge railroad steam train along Casco Bay around the Eastern Promenade at the East End of the Portland waterfront. Christmas lighting decorates the coaches, and lighting displays decorate the 1.3 miles of track. The railroad museum is also decorated, and Santa waits to listen to children's Christmas wish lists. Homemade holiday cookies, hot chocolate and hot spiced apple cider set the Christmas tone among the vintage coaches and train exhibits. Unique Christmas gifts are available at the museum store.

The steam trains run every 45 minutes from 4 pm to 7 pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday in late November thru December 23rd. Click for dates

Purchase tickets at the ticket booth at the corner of Franklin Arterial and Commercial Street. Adults: $10.00; Seniors $9.00; Children 3-12 $6.00; Children 2 and under are free.
